The Technical Services Intern will act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the IT development team to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables. Facilitate communication to bridge technical and business requirements effectively. Assist in gathering, analyzing, and prioritizing feature requests from business stakeholders. Develop detailed user stories, requirements, and acceptance criteria to guide development. Help manage the backlog by organizing and prioritizing tasks in collaboration with stakeholders. Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-up meetings to support the semi-agile workflow. Gain an understanding of existing system architectures and document key components. Provide input on system design and architecture decisions based on business needs. Analyze existing workflows and recommend enhancements to improve efficiency and collaboration. Assist in formalizing and documenting procedures for feature request management, development cycles, and stakeholder engagement.
Internship Goals:

Gain hands-on experience in managing the end-to-end lifecycle of feature requests, including gathering requirements, prioritizing tasks, and writing detailed user stories. Learn to balance business needs with technical feasibility while ensuring timely delivery of high-impact solutions.

Build foundational knowledge of system architectures, learning to identify key components, their interactions, and how they align with business objectives. Strengthen analytical skills by assessing system designs and contributing to architecture discussions.

Acquire practical knowledge of semi-agile workflows by participating in sprint planning, retrospectives, and cross-functional collaboration with business and IT teams. Develop strong communication and stakeholder management skills, effectively bridging the gap between business requirements and technical implementation.

Internship Requirements:
Academic Year: Junior or Senior
Area of Study: Computer Science, Information Technology
Preferred GPA: 3.2
Software Experience: Microsoft Office, Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
