Internship Summary

STIHL Inc. has a full time opening for a Supply Chain Intern in our Supply Chain Department.

• Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyze data with the help of the supervisor related to production, inventory, and supply chain performance.
• Projects: Spearhead a project or assist with ongoing projects primarily in implementing supply chain improvement initiatives. 
• Production Planning: Provide support in production scheduling to meet demand and optimize resource. 

Internship Goals:

• Develop proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools to evaluate production, inventory, and supply chain performance metrics. ​​​​​​​
• Gain practical experience in project management, including project planning, execution, and evaluation, by contributing to supply chain improvement initiatives.  
• Acquire knowledge of production planning principles and techniques to optimize resource utilization 

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Senior

Area of Study: Supply Chain Mgmt., Operations Mgmt., Business Analytics

Preferred GPA: 3.5+

Software Knowledge: Basic: Microsoft suits: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Power point Preferred: PowerBI, SAP

Work Hours: 8:30am - 5pm

Compensation: $20/hour
