Job Duties & Responsibilities
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise in configuring SAP SD modules, with detailed knowledge of SAP ABAP programs, function modules, SAP scripts, User Exits, and IDOCs
- Researching business requirements, developing detailed functional specifications, and validating the SAP solutions with business stakeholders
- Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement activities by correcting configuration and responding to scope changes and application enhancements
- Communicating business stakeholder needs to the SAP development team by translating business requirements into SAP technical requirements
- Identifying and analyzing business needs, conducting requirements gathering and defining scope and objectives with business stakeholders
- Developing test scenarios, test scripts and performing end-to-end testing
- Analyzing and troubleshooting complex and multi-dimensional problems
- Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through an SAP module and/or new technology or alternative use of existing technology and communicating those solutions to Senior Management/Executives
- Coaching, reviewing, and delegating work to lower level professionals
- Lead small group and/or project efforts
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Specifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business, Business Systems or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- SAP SD Certification
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, Planning, Problem-solving and Coordination skills.
- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
