As a family-owned company, it’s the people who continue to make STIHL a successful, world-class brand. STIHL is seeking a highly motivated, ambitious Supervisor, Customer Service to join our Customer Service Team at STIHL’s corporate headquarters in Virginia Beach!


This person will ensure personable, reliable and efficient service to STIHL customers as well as communicate, coordinate and supervise all facets of assigned team operations, to include development of customer service representatives, as well as the effective utilization of resources and administration of activities to ensure an efficient workload/workforce balance.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Actively coaches, counsels and develops customer service representatives.
  • Handles escalated customer complaints and interacts regularly with both dealers and branch personnel to ensure excellent customer service is provided.
  • Completes call monitoring to ensure call quality is being met and provides one-on-one feedback for developmental purposes.
  • Supervises daily order processing to ensure all daily branch cutoff times are met.
  • Monitors daily call volume to ensure even distribution of call flow.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Occasional travel, up to 25%, to the branches may be required.
