Internship Summary:
STIHL Inc. has a full time opening for a Sales Planning Intern in our Sales Planning Department.
Standard Operating Procedures
-Review and update Standard Operating Procedures / Work Instructions for Sales planning department to include Branch Planning, Central Planning and Sales Order Specialists.
-Build working understanding demand planning process and systems within STIHL domestic distribution strategy.
Master Data Review
-Help to prepare for transition to SAP 4HANA through data analysis in SAP.
-Identify risks within master data critical fields as defined by One STIHL.
-Catalogue Master Data deviations and identify for correction.
Internship Goals:
*Develop working knowledge of cross department functionality within STIHL Inc, Branch / Distributor network and STIHL Subsidiaries.
* SOP Development
*Build an understanding of Sales Planning role in supply chain
*Develop proficiency in SAP / MRP
*Create working understanding of master data within SAP
Internship Requirements:
Academic Year: Junior or Senior
Area of Study: Supply Chain or Engineering
Preferred GPA: 3.5
Software Knowledge: SAP, Excel
