About You
You will provide sales and operational planning support for strategic planning, purchase projections, operational sales forecasts, and annual budgets related to Finished Goods and accessories. You will provide system support for SAP, GIS and MLE.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and revise SAP sales forecasts for specific Finished Goods and related accessory categories, and monitor forecast accuracy. Includes both domestic and export customer forecasting.
- Maintain SAP and MLE forecast parameters to improve forecast accuracy.
- Maintain SAP master data.
- Involved in the Strategic Planning, Annual Budget, and Monthly Operational Plans for select Domestic and Export Powerheads and accessory sales.
- Review and monitor procurement plans, purchase orders and related shipment notices for imported items from STIHL production companies.
- Resolve product availability issues between Operations, STIHL production companies and Customer requirements.
- Communication with customers (Distribution) regarding forecasting and product availability.
- SAP Administrative Support for Sales Planning Department.
- Monthly loading and verification for accuracy of Export Forecast.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend changes to the department manager.
- Analyze sales for product areas of responsibility.
- Responsible for other department specific duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
- May include routine functions or special projects.
- Maintain proficiency in SAP by attending seminars or training courses as required.
- All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
Specifications
- 4 year degree in related discipline or technical experience equivalent.
- SAP coursework and technical training.
- 5 year experience.
- Microsoft Office products proficiency
