The Systems intern will learn about the mechanisms used to keep a company running with a Quality mindset. They will primarily focus on data management and document control but will also learn the basis of audits and root cause analysis. In addition to their specific projects, the intern will learn about the FMEA process and work with affiliate QNs to expand their quality knowledge. The intern will work towards more efficient and sustainable quality tools that will be used daily to ensure top quality here at STIHL Inc.

Internship Goals:

• Learn how to manage data, including but not limited to creating and managing reports to provide KPIs to management.
• Conduct various audits and learn about the audit process and the importance of evidence in audit findings.
• Learn and understand the importance of 8D failure analysis and cross functional teamwork.

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Junior or above

Area of Study: Industrial, Computer, Quality Engineering

Preferred GPA: 3.0+

Software Experience: SAP, Microsoft Office, PowerBI

Work Hours: 7:30am- 4:00pm

Department: Quality Assurance

Compensation: $20/hour
