About You:

You will develop and implement Production Plans in SAP to optimize production efficiency and meet customer demand.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Orchestrate the complete order lifecycle, from analysis and planning to release, control, rescheduling, and cancellation, adhering to MRP-generated requirements. Strategically minimize assembly downtime while achieving objectives in cost savings, quality assurance, inventory management, and downtime optimization.
  • Imparts comprehensive training, instruction, and guidance in a range of topics, including departmental procedures, effective negotiation strategies, engineering change management, material requirements planning (MRP), and production control (PC) systems.
  • Maintains adequate supply to meet demands while keeping inventory levels at desired targets consistent with ABC cost analysis.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders on a daily basis. Conduct machine capacity and/or direct labor planning, ensuring effective communication of production schedules to relevant departments. Proactively address material issues by collaborating with business units to resolve problems promptly.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams, including Production, Quality, and Engineering, to effectively manage material and mold procurement, navigate engineering change management processes, and ensure successful new product launches.
  • Conduct a thorough assessment of current production capabilities and compile a comprehensive capacity report. This report will serve to pinpoint specific time periods during which capacity constraints may hinder the company's ability to fulfill demand effectively.
  • Collaborates closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Supplier Quality Assurance, and Engineering to address and rectify defective or substandard products while also spearheading the planning for future requirements. Assumes responsibility for meticulously planning the introduction of engineering changes to ensure seamless transitions and optimal product quality.

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-7 years related experience preferred. Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of MRP system; SAP applications preferred.
