Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor all available data sources for emergent technical issues in the market on assigned product groups.
- Support customers regarding product troubleshooting and repair.
- Research, document and report technical issues.
- Research, document and report user applications of products.
- Communicate with colleagues in product management and training departments regarding product issues.
- Identify opportunities to improve communication with customers.
- Provide executive level reports on technical issues in assigned product groups.
- Monitor progress in resolving reported technical issues and escalate as necessary.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Specifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical engineering or the equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- 2+ years of real-world technician experience repairing mechanical or electronic systems. Preferably in a business sector similar to the outdoor power equipment industry. This is a must for success.
- Advanced understanding of operation and repair of small engines and electric power tools.
