As an intern for Product Management, you will support optimization, documentation and implementation of business processes and systems within not only the department, but also the organization. You will assist in analyzing workflows, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness and productivity across areas within the Product Management department. 

Process Analysis and Improvement: 

  • Assist in evaluating existing processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies or bottlenecks. 
  • Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and propose improvements for department/business processes.
  • Help document current processes and support the development of new process documentation.

Systems Support:

  • Assist in data entry and management within systems and databases.
  • Provide assistance in configuring and testing business systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.

Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Help collect, analyze and interpret data from business systems and reports. 
  • Assist in generating reports to evaluate performance and process effectiveness.
  • Support the development of dashboards and metrics for tracking measures. 

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand the process impact on other departments.
  • Support team members in the roll out and training of new systems and process changes.

 

Internship Goals:

  • Gain hands-on experience in business systems, process optimization and product management.
  • Develop skills in process mapping, data analysis and systems trouble shooting. 
  • Working closely with professionals in product management, information systems and marketing.

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Junior or Senior

Area of Study: Business Management, Computer Science, Project Management, Engineering

Preferred GPA: 3.0+

Software Experience: N/A

Work Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm

Compensation: $20/hour
