Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Join us for an exciting summer! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Product Management (PM) team as a PM Operations and Analytics intern.
As a PM Operations and Analytics intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting cross-functional initiatives that drive product development, launch performance, pricing strategy, and competitive intelligence. This role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of data, automation, and business strategy by building tools and systems that improve visibility in product performance and streamline decision-making processes across teams.
In this role, you will help design automated workflows, develop performance tracking dashboards, analyze pricing and promotional effectiveness, and contribute to competitive benchmarking efforts. You will collaborate with stakeholders across product management, sales, and marketing to ensure data-driven insights are accessible, actionable, and aligned with business goals. Your work will leave behind sustainable tools and frameworks that continue delivering value beyond the internship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build automated SharePoint and Power Automate workflows to track product development stages, trigger stakeholder notifications, collect risk/impact feedback via Power Apps, and monitor launch timing performance.
- Develop and maintain a 3-year product launch tracker comparing planned vs. actual timelines to identify trends, portfolio performance, and opportunities to improve launch execution.
- Support price elasticity analysis using internal dashboards, third-party market data (Open Brand, Yipit), and historical promotion data to evaluate pricing sensitivity by product portfolio.
- Assist in the automation of price regression models by identifying required data sources, supporting system integration, and helping establish a sustainable process for ongoing analysis.
- Create and maintain a competitive landscape matrix comparing competitor product specifications, pricing, and launch timing across user segments and sales channels.
- Support the design and procurement of plug-and-play product demos by defining objectives with stakeholders, researching concepts, and identifying required equipment, products, and accessories.
Internship Goals:
- Develop the ability to identify stakeholders, understand their needs and design clear communication plans that support automated workflows and system changes.
- Build foundational proficiency in power apps and power automate to create scalable, low-code solutions that replace manual processes.
- Develop the ability to design data models and trackers that support multi-year analysis, automation and cross-functional reporting.
- Gain hands on experience applying analytical techniques to solve real product and pricing opportunities.
