During this internship, the intern will work with engineering team on creating work instructions and documenting processes associated with the new thermoset molding activities in the polymers department, establish 5S guidelines for new thermoset molding area and deisgn, procure and install visual aids for product areas as assigned. 

Internship Goals:

  • 5S standards and processes
  • Process Documentation
  • Purchasing processes using Ariba

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Junior or above

Preferred Area of Study: Industrial or Mechanical Engineering

Preferred GPA: 3.0+

Software Experience: MS Office Suite, SolidWorks (preferred not required)

Work Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

Department: Plastics

Compensation: $20/hour
