Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manages work completed by Supervisor Payroll and Retirement Plan Coordinator in compliance with Company policy and federal and state regulations.
- Reviews payroll systems for improvements in reporting/efficiency and other progressive changes.
- Continuous communication with all levels of management, employees, and applicable vendors.
- Tax compliance for payroll and compensation related items, for domestic employees and expats / inpats.
- Participates in audits as required, and reviews payroll procedures and prepares materials for auditors as requested.
- Supervises and processes personnel costs and profit sharing transactions, 401K and pension plan documentation.
- Reviews analysis for various costs, including German social security, personnel cost, fringe benefits, moving, auto, and other compensation items.
- Prepares personnel costs for annual and strategic planning.
- Analysis and compiles y-e compensation files for submission to pension and 401k vendors.
- Manages compilation of hours worked, rates, master file information, taxes, insurance, and other items necessary to process the payroll for both hourly and salary employees.
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Human Resources, or related discipline preferred CPP preferred
- 5+ years of related experience, including tax related experience. 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience with UKG preferred.
- Ability to quickly identify problems, develop alternative solutions, and implement corrective action efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent communication, organizational, project management, and leadership abilities.
