About You

You will be responsible for ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality of STIHL Inc.  master data used across different work streams by working with data stewards in various functional areas.  This position plays a key role in implementing and overseeing data governance initiatives across the organization. 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Promote a need for high-quality master data to support business processes and to keep STIHL at the forefront of industry trends
  • The goal is to ensure high quality master data and advance the use of master data critical to SAP, acting as an ambassador and a strategic partner to stakeholders
  • Local Coordinator & Expert on the local process landscape; responsible for local end-to-end process set-up
  • Drives and promotes process harmonization and standardization in the local country and promotes its benefits to key local stakeholders
  • Conducts and finalizes local As-Is Business Process Assessment and high-level As-Is documentation (sufficient for fit-gap analysis against the to-be processes)
  • Confirms Global Template Scope, incl. Process Model and identifies gaps and interfaces vs As-Is business process landscape
  • Helps to ensure adequate local resource availability to support the localization in the functional stream
  • Finalizes gathering of all local Distinct Business Requirements (legal, fiscal and business critical)
  • Locally resolves or escalates any upcoming issues/risks related to the implementation of his/her specific business process in accordance with the overall ONE STIHL Project Governance and procedures
  • Coordinates the creation of change requests regarding local (distinct) functionality (including validation of the local benefits case for the change and financial impact), submits proposed change requests (incl. financial impact analysis) to Global Process Owner for approval and sponsors these requests throughout the change request process

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Updates the respective documentation for all globally approved (GPO, Design Authority) local/distinct requirements
  • Obtains local sign-off for the localized process register (local/distinct additions to the URS, FS, BPML)
  • Defines local business process scenarios as input for UAT test scripts and training material
  • Is consulted during the creation of local training material by the Change Leadership Team
  • Obtains local sign-off on the UAT tests
  • Supports Hand over of all process-related knowledge on local process variants
  • Supports issue resolution in their respective functional areas during Hypercare phase
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
  • SAP experience
