About You

This individual will maintain and ensure master data integrity and maintain the processes to support the data quality and operational efficiency centrally in Sales Planning. They will support branch master data initiatives as necessary. They will identify and lead improvement initiatives and cross-functional opportunities through data analysis. They will also develop Sales Planning business intelligence reports and to lead sales planning analytical projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Lead master data improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency, strengthen data governance and increase data value through deployment of user-friendly processes and system tools for branches and central sales planning.
  • Create and maintain branch and central planning master data and resolving master data issues, primarily relating to material, vendor, and purchase information records and sourcing.
  • Perform branch and central planning master data consistency checks, ensuring the highest level of data integrity and consistent use of data in collaboration with field and central planning team, the SAP team and other functional teams of STIHL Inc. and STIHL Germany.
  • Analyzes large data sets and identifies areas of improvement for Field and Central Planning team.
  • Analyzes business requirements and recommends IT solutions consistent with group strategies.  Develops and publishes business intelligence reports for Field and Central Planning.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  • Work experience in the following areas: sales operations, supply chain management, master data management.
  • Capable of providing clear reporting
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • MS Office proficiency (Excel in particular) required
  • SAP experience required
  • 5 – 7 years preferred
