About You
The Marketing Coordinator supports the entire marketing department in a variety of tasks and responsibilities including (but not limited to) event coordination and management, planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns, inter-department and to-the-field communication, collaboration across the STIHL Inc landscape, and providing administrative support when needed. The Marketing Coordinator is a fluid position that supports such marketing functions as Business Events, Communications, Product and Brand Marketing, and Digital Marketing.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Coordinates logistics and support for business events, trade shows, media events, and asset capture opportunities such as photo and video shoots.
- Collaborate across relevant departments during show and content development projects to ensure alignment within the STIHL Inc group with emphasis on the Marketing, Sales, and Product departments.
- Evaluate, measure, and report on effectiveness of sponsored and supported events, digital marketing investments such as website content performance and SEM.
- Work directly with STIHL PR Specialist and P.R. Agency(s) to build annual communications, outreach, trade advertising and publicity programs for sponsored events and relationships
- Coordinates with Brand Manager to ensure HQ alignment with branch and distributor marketing staff on all MAP initiatives and investments.
- Participates in the development of annual and project budgets as necessary. Track appropriate budget areas and operate within budgetary constraints
- Provide logistic and on-site event support including ordering, storing, shipping, producing, and tracking support materials related to the production of the STIHL TIMBERSPORTS Series and other sponsored events.
- Responsible for the booking, scheduling, and maintenance of STIHL’s show trailers
- Assembles and coordinates sales and marketing news for publication within the Marketing Hub, Weekly Marketing Update, STIHL Hub, eBoards, Chainletter, and Blick ins Werk
- Coordinates with Marketing Insights team to help manage and track survey lists, results, and communicate efforts and insights to the STIHL Group.
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
- Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Basic computer and Microsoft software knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Outdoor Power Equipment knowledge preferred
- 1-3 years of related work experience required
- Minimal travel requirements
