As part of our internship program, students will have the opportunity to:
- Gain hands-on, real-world experience within a leading industry, working on meaningful projects that contribute to day-to-day operations and long-term initiatives

- Complete a final presentation outlining their internship experience, which may be presented to their direct supervisor and colleagues.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Join us for an exciting summer! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Machining team as an intern.
As a Machining intern, you will support hands-on continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, organization, and inventory management. This role offers exposure to scrap analysis, root cause determination, 5S improvement activities, and Kanban-based spare part management within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with scrap analysis and root cause determination activities
- Support 5S fixture improvements and workplace organization exercises
- Help develop and maintain spare-part Kanban procedures
- Evaluate machine failures to define possible preventative measures to increase OEE and reduce costs.
Internship Goals:
- Develop a strong understanding of 5S and continuous improvement methodologies
- Gain exposure to structured problem-solving using DMAIC method
- Build foundational SolidWorks design and drafting skills
- Develop inventory and Kanban system knowledge
