During this internship, the internship will be focused on the shaft turning process measurement stability improvements (Hanwha Turning)- Improve measurement reliability through data collection, statistical gage analysis, and DOE testing to implement more reliable gaging for the shaft turning department. Additional tasks/projects include:

 

  • Perform gage analysis
  • Suggest and implement new gaging on production floor
  • Develop tolerances and gage setup
  • Verify results in production
  • Other projects as needed

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Junior

Area of Study: Mechanical Engineering

Preferred GPA: 3.2 +

Software Experience: SolidWorks, Office 365

Internship Information:

Work Hours: 8:30am- 5:00pm

Department: Machining

Compensation: $20/hour
