Project Outline:

STIHL Inc has an open opportunity for a Machining Process Engineer Intern! 

This intern will Support senior process engineering in multiple process, equipment, tooling and engineering related tasks.

Project Goals:

• Implement Qdas data collection and instantaneous CMM reporting for operators
• Support new equipment and process installation of our new 6-Spindel Turning Center
  • • Solidworks models and drawings of all of the spare parts
• Reoccurring maintenance downtime data analysis
  • • Pull data supporting the development of PMs for certain tasks for preventative rather than reactive maintenance, department wide. Frequency of occurrence, etc.
• New equipment ramp up support
• SMED analysis

Preferred Qualifications:

• Solid Works CAD experience
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
