Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performs complex tasks required to maintain equipment functionality and minimize downtime.
• Uses mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment and make repairs.
• Handles complex maintenance, repair, operation and installation of industrial equipment with company vendors, contractors and/or Engineers.
• Inspects industrial equipment to identify potential problems and recommends corrective or preventative measures.
• Uses experience and judgment to determine the best course of action to maintain equipment functionality.
• Performs preventive maintenance to maintain equipment within manufacturer specifications.
• Must be available for emergency service during off hours.
• Verify equipment condition for vendor and contractor repair/replacement of industrial equipment
• Work with vendors and contractors for proper completion of services to industrial equipment.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

Specifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 5 years related experience in industrial equipment mechanics, refrigeration, electrical, hydraulics and/or pneumatics preferred.
•  Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of SAP PM Module preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic blueprints, drawings and documentation.
