About You

You are a detail-oriented professional with experience in asset accounting and capital project tracking. You work closely with stakeholders across departments, support project financials and investment processes, manage investment requests, and ensure accurate asset inventory reviews and capitalization of new assets.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently analyzes costs and production activities to provide business unit insight for potential cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Performs cost analysis & may provide recommendations to be used for strategic decision making.
  • Communicates to the business unit how activities and their costs are linked to the products and the Company's financial results.
  • Performs and analyzes costing run to determine the cost associated with component parts and finished goods.
  • Performs monthly and year end closing processes.
  • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organizations progress against its financial goals.
  • Facilitates the strategic and annual planning processes with the business unit.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision and possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

 

Other duties may include:

  • Performs asset accounting tasks and conduct yearly review of asset inventory
  • Interacts with stakeholders across all departments and provide general support on project financials and investments
  • Handles investment requests, tracks capital projects, and capitalizes new assets

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3-5 years of related Asset Accounting and Capital Investment work experience required
