Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Independently analyzes costs and production activities to provide business unit insight for potential cost reductions and process improvements.
  • Performs cost analysis & may provide recommendations to be used for strategic decision making.
  • Communicates to the business unit how activities and their costs are linked to the products and the Company's financial results.
  • Performs and analyzes costing run to determine the cost associated with component parts and finished goods.
  • Performs monthly and year end closing processes.
  • Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organizations progress against its financial goals.
  • Facilitates the strategic and annual planning processes with the business unit. May assist in various projects.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision and possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or needed.

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience, is required.
  • Manufacturing experience preferred 
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • 3-5 years of related work experience is required
