About You

You will be responsible for analyzing and reporting financial information used for strategic decision making, covering areas such as product costing, cost center reporting, as well as participating in the financial planning process. You will be a single-point of contact for entire business units (R&D, Engineering, etc.), responsible for highly complex, multi-year projects; acting as an expert in all matters of the business unit’s financial reporting, systems, and portfolio.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Independently analyzes costs and production activities to provide business unit insight for potential cost reductions and process improvements.
• Performs cost analysis & may provide recommendations to be used for strategic decision making.
• Communicates to the business unit how activities and their costs are linked to the products and the Company's financial results.
• Performs and analyzes costing run to determine the cost associated with component parts and finished goods.
• Performs monthly, quarterly, and year end closing processes.
• Collects and analyzes financial information for assigned accounts, products or product lines, or business units in order to track the organizations progress against its financial goals.
• Facilitates the strategic and annual planning processes with the business unit.
• Performs work under minimal supervision and possesses comprehensive knowledge of subject matter.
• All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
   

Specifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline is required.
• Manufacturing and/or logistics experience preferred. 
• SAP experience required.
• Project Management experience is preferred.
• Reporting Automation experience, specifically PowerBI, is preferred.
• Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
