About You

This individual will support the objectives and deadlines of the Finance department by performing assigned accounting tasks, journal entries and account reconciliations.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assists with monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting by preparing data loads and gathering information.
  • Performs balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned.
  • Reconciling credit cards and preparing credit card journal entries
  • Prepares several recurring journal entries required for the month-end closing each period to include labor, payroll, real estate investment properties, accruals, and expense reclassifications, etc.
  • Supports internal and external financial audits with data requests, documentation and explanations.
  • Prepares and submits US Government reports/surveys in accordance with regulatory deadlines.
  • Partners with Accounts Payable in the preparation and filing of STIHL Inc. 1099s with the IRS.
  • Acts as first response liaison with investment property management and company travel agency.

Specifications

  • 4 year degree in Accounting or related discipline preferred.
  • Related work experience or internships preferred.
  • Basic skills in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
