About You
You are responsible for design and technical work within the facilities department, focusing on building repairs, modifications, renovations, new construction, and equipment. Your work involves research, technical analysis, and design related to systems such as HVAC, electrical, water, compressed air, security, and fire suppression. You maintain close contact and coordinate projects continually with contractors and local government authorities.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- AutoCAD 2D mechanical design & modifications
- Technical documentation up keep
- Project Coordination
- External contractor coordination
- Systems analysis and research
- Cost estimations
- Equipment review, inspection and analysis
- Coordinate with local government
- SolidWorks 3D Design and modifications
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Specifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
- 5+ years of experience required
- Travel requirements: 25%
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or Access.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
