About You

As part of our executive department, you will play a vital role in the support of STIHL Incorporated and will act as a liaison to the Sr. Vice President of Finance and Sr. Vice President of Sales & Marketing; maintain appointment agendas and keep the Sr. Vice Presidents informed of commitments.  

 

The successful candidate will have experience supporting executive level leadership and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, have expert level Microsoft PowerPoint acumen and possess fundamental knowledge of accounting and financial statements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Compiles, prepares, and conducts preliminary analysis of financial reporting using MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Composes confidential correspondence of a general business nature; receives, screens, and relays telephone and email communications.  Opens, scans, and sorts executive office mail for importance, urgency and distribution.
  • Arranges travel itinerary for executive and respective managers and when necessary makes contact with traveler on important or urgent matters.  Prepares conference agenda and materials for travel to include reports, files, records, etc.
  • Attend business functions during and after normal business hours, as required.
  • Provides administrative support and analysis as needed for key managers; report analysis, presentations, etc.

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5+ years of related experience.
  • German proficiency required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, Power Point & Adobe
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
