During this internship, the intern will assist the Engineering Project Management team with data analysis and project related tasks:

  • Research new manufacturing equipment
  • Research new manufacturing methods
  • Observe the production processes and collect data
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities 
  • Conduct root cause analysis, if applicable
  • Present data to support decision making
  • Assist Project Managers with project related tasks as needed
  • Assist Project Managers with engineering changes as needed
  • Support NTB testing, if applicable

Internship Goals:

  • Gain understanding of engineering project management
  • Research and analyze information
  • Present potential savings opportunities and suggest plan for implementation
  • Assist with project and engineering change related tasks
  • Produce documentation for projects and understand the importance of a well-documented project
     

Internship Requirements:

Academic Year: Junior, Senior

Area of Study: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering

Preferred GPA: 3.5+

Software Experience: MS Office, SAP (desired, not required)

Work Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm

Department: Engineering Project Management

Compensation: $20/hour
