About You
This role will report to the Vice President, Human Resources, you will design and implement HR solutions that enable the company’s success, foster a high-performance culture, and support the continued transformation of our business.Our HR Business Partners are uniquely positioned to shape employee experiences, ensure company’s talent grows in meaningful ways and help business leaders and HR be as successful as possible.This role requires a strong collaboration across the HR function, influencing within a matrixed team and delivering strategic and hands-on HR support.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Promote and establish positive employee relations and promote a high level of employee morale
• Diagnose organizational and talent needs, collaborating with business leaders to implement solutions that improve performance and engagement
• Partner with leaders on organization development initiatives to strengthen capabilities, processes and culture
• Partner with leaders to ensure succession planning and leadership pipeline strength for critical roles.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to ensure diverse, high-quality hiring and positive onboarding experiences.
• Serve as a liaison with other HR teams such as Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition & Development, and HR Systems/Operations to coordinate the development and execution of programs, systems, and processes to be used by the brand/business unit to support the business
• Drive the development and implementation of solutions to employee relations issues
• Build strong, trusted relationships across the company and broader STIHL enterprise to influence outcomes and manage change effectively.
Specifications
• The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years HR experience, experience in manufacturing preferred.
• Experience as a working HRBP manager as well as managing a Business Partner Team required
• Experience working in a matrix and diversified organization, global experience a plus
• Bachelor's in Human Resources, Business, Human Resources Management, Management, Business/Administration, Business/Management required
• Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or MBA preferred
• PHR, SPHR, or SHRM-CP required
• Required Skills/Experience: Employee Relations, Talent Management, Legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, Compensation, Performance Management, ADA, FMLA, Regulatory compliance, Applicable employment laws
