Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Join us for an exciting summer! We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our Marketing team as a Digital Marketing Intern.
As a Digital Marketing Intern, you will be exposed to hands-on website redesign efforts, user experience improvements, and content organization initiatives that support a full website reskin. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to real-world digital projects while gaining practical experience in modern web design, UX principles, and content strategy within a collaborative digital team environment.
In this role, you will assist with updating page layouts, visual elements, and site components to align with a new brand direction, support sitemap redevelopment and content audits to improve navigation and usability and help maintain and update website content within a CMS. You will also contribute to UX testing, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration, gaining insight into how design and information architecture decisions impact user behavior, accessibility, and overall site performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in updating page layouts, visual elements, and component styling to align with the new brand direction.
- Help prepare and organize assets such as images, icons, and graphics for implementation.
- Review pages for consistency in typography, spacing, and overall design execution.
- Participate in mapping out the new site structure, including reorganizing existing content and identifying gaps or redundancies.
- Help document navigation flows and user pathways to ensure a more intuitive site experience.
- Assist in auditing current pages to determine what should be updated, consolidated, or retired.
- Support UX improvements by reviewing pages for clarity, accessibility, and ease of use.
- Help gather and organize user feedback or internal stakeholder notes to inform design decisions.
- Assist in testing updated pages to ensure functionality, responsiveness, and cross‑browser compatibility.
- Update copy, images, and metadata across the site as needed.
- Help ensure content follows brand guidelines and is optimized for readability and engagement.
- Work closely with the digital team to track progress, maintain documentation, and support project timelines.
- Participate in team check‑ins, share observations, and contribute ideas that improve the redesign process.
Internship Goals:
- Build foundational experience in modern web design and UX principles.
- Gain hands‑on practice applying layout, accessibility, and usability best practices while contributing to a full site reskin.
- Develop an understanding of how design decisions impact user behavior and overall site performance.
- Strengthen information architecture and content‑organization skills.
- Learn how to evaluate existing site structures, participate in creating an updated. sitemap, and understand how navigation, hierarchy, and content strategy shape a cohesive digital experience.
