About You

​This individual will support the Sales Department and Business Development Department in all aspects of sales, sales reporting, initiative tracking, national shows and events and marketing support.  You will also provide administrative, analytical and logistical support and reporting for all aspects of business development, especially as it relates to national strategic accounts.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • ​​To create and produce various sales reports and spreadsheets on a regular or ad hoc basis. May analyze results and create written reports to accompany the statistical information.​ 
  • ​​Maintain and update the STIHL eBiz product catalog.  Attend Marketing Operations Matrix (MOM) meetings and work with master files from Germany and MOM to have the eBiz product catalog maintained at all times.​ 
  • ​​Prepares formal presentation materials including PowerPoints for STIHL distribution and STIHL management, as well as assisting with Top-to-Top meeting presentations​. 
  • ​​Work with Ecommerce and Marketing to assist national strategic accounts with their questions and projects surrounding SKU set up, pricing inquiries, and product attributes​. 
  • ​​Assist Business Development Project Manager with show logistics, including potential on-site help at tradeshows and events with national strategic accounts​. 

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in related or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1+ years of experience (outdoor power equipment industry preferred).
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation delivery.
  • Valid driver’s license required. Ability to drive a full-size pickup truck pulling a 24 ft. show trailer.
  • STIHL product familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical work as needed Ability to work on multiple projects at once with excellent follow-through and follow-up skills.
  • Moderate continental U.S. travel required (7 weeks/year approx.) In some cases, travel could be two weeks in duration.
