About You
You repair, modify, and maintain all robotic automation cells for Polymers. You perform all necessary equipment changeovers as required by production planning, and you support Process Engineering with equipment modifications and project work.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for preventative and corrective maintenance of automation equipment (i.e. 6-axis robots, support equipment, End-of-Arm Tooling, pad printers, part feeding systems, vision inspection systems, etc.).
• Performs automated equipment changeover procedures and make adjustments as required to maximize equipment performance.
• Performs Fanuc robot program position touchups and minor program modifications to maximize equipment performance.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on electromechanical and pneumatic equipment.
• Responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and modifying the robotics End-of-Arm Tooling used to handle parts.
• Completes daily report detailing any significant issues relating to equipment performance.
• Completes or generates required paperwork to record set up procedures, settings, etc.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.
Specifications
Education: Associates Degree in mechanical / electrical technology preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft office software, including Word, Excel, Power Point & Office.
- Working knowledge of electromechanical and pneumatic systems.
Work Experience: 1+ years of related experience and/or training preferred.
