About You

You analyze, program, and configure end‑user applications. You review detailed business, functional, technical requirements, and application specifications to ensure you understand exactly what’s needed. You develop custom internal applications and configure commercial‑off‑the‑shelf (COTS) solutions using programming, scripting, and database languages.

You support testing, deployment, maintenance, and enhancement activities by resolving programming or configuration issues, adapting to scope changes, and responding to requests for application improvements.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. Providing applications support to employee end-users and customers for custom-developed and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications including Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, B2B/B2C web applications, and other internal applications
  2. Diagnosing problems through discussions with users and coordinating with internal support teams and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems
  3. Supporting application testing, deployment, and maintenance activities by correcting programming/configuration errors, responding to scope changes, and implementing enhancement requests
  4. Documenting user requirements, creating functional specifications, and developing technical documentation and end-user training materials
  5. Participating on cross-functional Business Intelligence team, providing support and expertise for data integration, data collection, data analysis, and reporting
  6. Responding to user requests to research complex problems. Analyzing, troubleshooting, and diagnosing problems and documenting resolutions for future training and to facilitate knowledge transfer and prevent problem reoccurrence
  7. Creating and maintaining functional specifications technical documentation for end-user support and training
  8. Monitoring Help Desk support tickets and managing the escalation, resolution, and closing of the tickets
  9. Developing test scenarios, test scripts and performing end-to-end systems integration testing
  10. All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Specifications

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business, Business Systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

Licenses/Certifications: Microsoft Dynamics Certficiation

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment. Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills.  Strong analytical and organizational skills

Work Experience: 7+ years
