Job Duties & Responsibilities:

Join us for an exciting summer!  We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our National Service team as a intern.

 

As an Computer Science Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting system improvements, product ownership activities, and cross-functional technology initiatives related to LMS and SSO platforms. This role offers exposure to requirements gathering, agile collaboration, process improvement, and user-focused system enhancements within a dynamic IT and business environment.

 

In this role, you will work with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to clarify system needs, help document requirements, support knowledge base development, and contribute to projects that improve usability, integration, and overall user experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to gather and clarify system requirements
  • Assist with drafting user stories, refining requirements, and organizing backlog items to support LMS and SSO enhancements
  • Help build and maintain a user-friendly knowledge base, including how-to guides and process documentation
  • Participate in agile routines such as stand-ups and planning meetings, supporting coordination and follow-up tasks
  • Research system functionality and integrations, and document findings for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Analyze current workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
  • Gather user feedback and help represent user needs to support better system design and experience
