- Salary Range: $76,000-$86,000/year
Purpose
Coordinates and oversees all warehousing functions to include direct supervision of employees, order fulfillment, inventory management, employee safety and inbound and outbound shipments. Sets performance goals, monitors employee productivity, and provides constructive feedback and coaching.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day warehousing functions. Supervise and direct warehouse employees. Ensures safety of employees and safe operations of warehouse equipment. Supervises, coordinates and may participate in receiving, storing, packing, inventory verification and order fulfillment operations.
- Assigns work to utilize available skills, knowledge and experience, labor hours, machines and tools to the best advantages to obtain most favorable costs, accuracy, and completeness.
- Provides regular training to staff and oversees large jobs or critical processes to ensure that branch policies and procedures are followed.
- Maintain warehouse operations equipment and coordinate repairs to ensure minimal down time to operations.
- Review warehouse performance metrics with Warehouse Manager and identify areas of opportunity.
- Maintains conformance with STIHL employee and safety rules and regulations, may issue counseling notices and administer approved disciplinary measures when necessary. Participates in and coordinates internal programs, such as communications, vacation requests, employee performance reviews, etc.
- Assist in the hiring and training of new employees. Maintains appropriate levels of labor in accordance with skill requirements, work levels and schedules, and training programs.
- Coordinate and schedule weekly, quarterly and annual inventory cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.

Specifications
- Degree/Diploma in business or supply chain management or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- SAP Experience
- Experience using a warehouse management system and radio frequency technology
- Experience in order management and inventory management
- 3-5 years of related work experience is required
