About You:


This individual will keep the group moving in the right direction as it relates to omnichannel strategy.  They will be responsible for crafting a long-term strategy, objectives, and helping us stay on track to rowing in that direction.  Analytics will be core to this role, and how we manage those relationships to drive a strong STIHL brand, dealer, and customer interaction will be critical to success.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • You are able understand the current state by sifting through large data sets, meeting with external stakeholders (customers, dealers, etc.), and coordinating with internal stakeholders (both global and US) to craft a well designed and thought through omnichannel story which is able to be understood by anyone in our organization.
  • You will deal with ambiguous decisions and need to develop and align on winning frameworks.
  • You will optimize the customer experience of targeted consumer segments and drill into their behaviors and data to support digital marketing, merchandising, and others in the organization.
  • Utilizing various data sources, you’ll be able to break down larger goals more simply to drill down and diagnose root cause and opportunity areas.
  • You’ll be a master at visualization and help leadership understand the high level tracking while being able to get in the details as needed.  
  • Alongside an agency partner, you’ll ensure that sites are tagged and tracked appropriately to allow for the right level of data for yourself and cross-functional partners.
  • Utilizing AI and machine learning technologies alongside partners, you will help develop predictive models that identify ways we can target specific users.
  • You will also help drive the dialogue on options for meeting business and customer needs, and model out the potential results if we move in certain directions.
  • Develops a sustainable way to track and manage, identify trends and breaking down higher level goals into their components.
  • These dashboards may be used daily, weekly, monthly or on an ad hoc basis.


  • Bachelor's degree required; preferred in the areas of marketing, strategy, or business-related fields
  • Ownership – ability to influence and lead starting with “why”

  • Analytics, dashboard development
  • 3-5 years experience required; preferred 1+ in a strategy consulting (McKinsey, Bain, BCG), corporate strategy, or analytics role
  • Travel of up to 25% required.
