Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Providing Hardware/software administration and support of RF Guns, Scanners, Scales and Label Printers in a manufacturing environment
  • Providing administration and support for third party logistics software/applications that interface with SAP. Managing the vendor relationship and coordinating enhancement requests, testing, and support
  • Supporting application testing, deployment, maintenance and enhancement activities by correcting configuration and responding to scope changes and application enhancement requests
  • Diagnosing problems through discussions with users and coordinating with internal support teams and operations groups and/or with vendors to resolve problems
  • Configuring SAP WM module, with basic knowledge of SAP ABAP programs, function modules, SAP scripts, User Exits, SQL, and IDOCs
  • Communicating business stakeholder needs to the SAP development team by translating business requirements into SAP technical requirements
  • Researching business requirements, developing detailed specifications and validating the SAP solutions with business stakeholders
  • Making recommendations for solutions or improvements to business processes that can be accomplished through an SAP module and/or new technology, or alternative use of existing technology and communicating those solutions to Management
  • Developing test scenarios, test scripts and performing end-to-end systems integration testing
  • Developing technical and training documentation
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Business Systems or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred
  •  In-depth knowledge of standard warehouse, shipping, and distribution processes.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and oral), interpersonal skills. 
  • Strong analytical, Problem-solving and Coordination skills.
  •  7+ years in related role
