Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of security personnel.
• Schedules security personnel to ensure 24 hours / 7 days per week coverage.
• Inspects buildings and grounds to ensure protection from intruders, fire hazards, theft, and vandalism.
• Develops emergency procedures, responds to incidents, and resolves problems or requests assistance of local authorities.
• Escorts unruly or disruptive persons from the property or assists with stopping the disruption. Has authority for personnel actions and oversees most day-to-day operations of the group.
• Monitors time and attendance records of security personnel.
• Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

Specifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 10+ years working in security or related field(s).
• Knowledge in C-TPAT and Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).
• Basic computer skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
