Sales Training Coordinator

This individual will work with the training team to ensure that our dealers, distribution team and customers are educated through engaging content, and receive a high quality and cohesive training experience.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Coordinates with the training team, product managers, marketing and legal departments to support the planning and execution of video, audio and digital training content for STIHL Distributors/Branches and Dealers, such as new product launch training materials, Storyline presentations, how-to-videos and safety/maintenance videos. Video project development includes, but is not limited to, contact and organization of talent, drafting scripts, ensuring corporate policy and legal compliance, as well as assisting with preparation of product for shoots and site preparation, video production and post editing.
  • Upload, manage, and organize training content created in-house to iCADEMY®, the STIHL learning management system (LMS). Build and provide reports as needed.
  • Resolves STIHL Distributor/Branch/Dealer training issues as required in regards to the LMS independently or by escalating to partners/vendors as needed.
  • Assists with the review, testing, and implementation of LMS updates and enhancements. 
  • Identifies future strategic development opportunities for the LMS as well as organizational needs and requirements for new LMS solutions or integrations.
     

Specifications

  • Degree/Diploma in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred  - Business, Marketing or Film/Cinema Production
  • 1 + years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, while being thorough, detail oriented and organized 
  • Works well both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment  
  • Proficient in video production including script development, videography and post editing. Familiarity with mirrorless and DSLR cameras.
  • Working knowledge of these softwares is desirable:
    • Final Cut Pro X
    • Photoshop
    • (Apple) Motion (graphics)
    • (Apple) Compressor or similiar program (such as Handbrake)
    • Adobe Audition 
  • Previous experience with learning management systems is highly desirable 
  • Familiarity with Articulate 360 (Storyline) is desired, but not required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of STIHL products or the outdoor power equipment industry is a plus
