As a STIHL Inc. Recruiter, this individual will source, screen, interview and extend job offers to candidates for open positions. They will inform candidates of job duties, compensation and benefits. In addition, they will advise hiring managers on staffing policies and procedures.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Sources potential candidates through: direct contact, employee referrals and industry networking, internet job boards, user groups and mining" applicant tracking system for current and prior posted applicants.
  •  Partners with hiring managers, HR, and Talent Acquisition Supervisor to ensure the success of the business goals and objectives by developing sound hiring strategies.
  • Educates and inform hiring managers and candidates about Staffing processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Conducts detailed review of forecasted job requirement to ensure effectiveness of requisition as well as compliance with established company policies and procedures.
  • Provides pre-screened, qualified candidates to hiring managers, coordinate offers, relocation, etc., working closely with hiring managers, recruiting coordinators, the compensation team, and the Talent Acquisition Supervisor as needed.
  • Conducts regular follow-ups throughout the hiring process with candidates to ensure continued interest.
  • Provides detailed status reports as determined by Talent Acquisition Supervisor
  • Coordinates VISA/Immigration processes for STIHL employees and new hires.
  • Compiles reports on recruiting and employment activities.
  • Assumes additional related responsibilities as needed.


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 2+ years of recruiting experience preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for IT and Manufacturing positions is a plus.
  • Performs work under general supervision.
  • Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to the Talent Acquisition Supervisor.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
