Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manages, motivates, guides, and challenges marketing communications department personnel.
  • Regularly monitors and analyzes department progress vs. plans and budgets, industry developments, and parent company communications.
  • Recommends improvements in all areas of responsibility to effect increased efficiency, profitability, market share, balanced product sales, and market segment development.
  • Develops and recommends annual consumer and trade communication strategies.
  • Recommends selection of and evaluates various advertising agencies, marketing research firms, and other related suppliers.
  • Develops and oversees management of planned press and public relations activities and trade and industry shows and exhibits. Participates as needed.
  • Manages development and sale of collateral products.
  • Works closely with sales and product management personnel in the planning and provision of sales and merchandising aids.
  • Coordinates annual distributor meetings and assists Sales department in production needs for various dealer and other meeting as required.
  • Oversees management and practical applications of marketing research projects.
  • Keeps abreast of the marketplace through planned field sales travel, participation in customer meetings, and trade and industry related shows.
  • Oversees all aspects of the company’s mobile, digital, and social programs.
  • Manages assigned budgets with emphasis on maximizing value received for advertising and promotional monies spent.
  • All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.


  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline.
  • 10 years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
