Marketing Coordinator

Purpose

To support the Brand Communications Team across all key areas of day to day project activities. To provide analytical andadministrative support for various marketing functions. To provide general project support and analysis 
across key communications disciplines (brand and digital).
 

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prioritizing projects and tasks across all areas of the Brand Communications Team.
  • Creates and produces various marketing reports, presentations and spreadsheets on a regular or ad hoc basis. 
  • Required to analyze report results and create written analysis to accompany the statistical information. Distributes reports as directed in a timely fashion after obtaining proper approvals to do so from the Mgr. Brand Communications.
  • Supports specific Brand Communications activities including meetings, record keeping, registration data, quantifiables and other activities and projects as assigned.
  • Participates in the development of annual and project budgets as necessary. Track appropriate budget areas and operates within budgetary constraints.
  • Coordinates with sales department for marketing including product knowledge, new product support timing, specifications, product preparation and assembly, and safe product usage.
  • Responsible for working with Product Management, the Marketing Team, the Legal Department and our agencies, to develop all new product Brag Sheets, and distribute to all interested parties upon completion.
  • Replies to STIHLusa customer emails and/or routes to appropriate party.
  • Reviews new content for SUSA as well as regional custom content, and routes through legal for final review.
  • Assumes additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Mgr. Brand Communications.

Specifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.          
  • 2+ years of related experience preferred.            
  • Performs work under general supervision. Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.            
  • Proficient computer and Microsoft software knowledge, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook.            
  • Valid driver’s license required.            
  • Outdoor Power Equipment knowledge preferred
