This individual will be responsible for content marketing strategies and development to help overall brand awareness and online presence through content planning, development, creation, implementation and analysis across multiple platforms.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, development and deployment of editorial calendars for multiple brand offline, and social media platforms
  • Create and manage a year-long milestone editorial calendar to ensure all product launches and key events are planned.
  • Collaborate with STIHL Marketing team on content and promotional use opportunities and implementation.
  • Work with STIHL Legal team on all content approvals.
  • Collaborate on all Brag sheet creation and finalization to meet content creation requirements.
  • Review social post copy to ensure it is on-brand, legally approved and within brand guidelines and standards.
  • Identify new additions to STIHL USA’s community of influencers. Assist with outreach and coordination of content opportunities with influencers.
  • Review Global content calendars and recommend opportunities for STIHL Inc. implementation.
  • Understand all key audiences and targeting to ensure content is produced to reach each.
  • Manage and distribute content to be used for product launches and promotion.
  • Edit weekly content marketing communications for stakeholders (STIHL Inc., Distribution and Dealers).
  • Ensure all content planned and produced is on-brand and fits within STIHL guidelines for safety and proper use.
  • Identify content opportunities and build relationships with STIHL sponsorships and partners.
  • Collaborate with Mktg. team to ensure all legally approved content is on Marketing Library/Content portal for use by key stakeholders.
  • Gather, review and distribute insights and expertise learned from public feedback to STIHL content produced (social media, online reviews, etc.)  Report insights to key internal and external stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
  • Monitor, track and engage in real-time through social media to conversations on STIHL Inc's 7+ social media channels. Assign customer service questions to appropriate stakeholders and manages the response. Monitor and report on competitor mentions and conversations.
  • Assist in the creation and analysis of monthly, quarterly and bi-annual reports to show performance on KPIs.
  • Assist in the cross-coordination with the STIHL Timbersports Series online and social media presence.
  • Assist in the management of YouTube strategy, implementation, uploads and channel maintenance. Develop and ensure YouTube Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) remain updated.

Specifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4+ years related business experience in marketing communications that includes social/digital media.
  • Overnight travel 10 to 20 nights per year.
