About You:


This role will strategically plan, develop, and implement comprehensive in-store marketing programs. Elevate the overall STIHL servicing dealer retail environment nationwide. Create new, long-range in-store merchandising systems, including fixtures, freestanding displays, and, passive and active digital screens. Support all aspects of In-Store POP.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and coordinate in-store marketing materials to include point of purchase kits, hang tags, concept store fixtures, digital displays, counter displays and various components.
  • Provide merchandising communications for dealers, branch & distributors, sales and marketing staff. Includes development and participation in sales and other corporate meetings to establish and implement new in-store marketing initiatives throughout Distribution.
  • Supervise key agencies, and vendors according to STIHL purchasing and distribution desires for creative and cost effective solutions.
  • Monitor and evaluate competitors’ In-Store marketing activity and ensure that STIHL offers the most current in-store strategies and tactics within our industry and sales channels.
  • Creates, produces and manages various printed projects. Communications include but are not limited to STIHL Product
  • Information Guides, brochures, catalogs and like materials. Acts as the liaison with product managers, product information and other departments for the gathering of information for said literature.
  • Reviews, comments and routes in-store marketing materials from agencies, Branches and Distributors. This includes but not limited to STIHL Edge video support and update, hangtag production, Why Buys etc.
  • Ensure compliance with STIHL Brand Standards in all aspects related to In-Store Marketing
  • Assists at national sales/distributor meetings as appropriate.
  • Ensures compliance with budgetary guidelines and may participate in the creation of budgets.
  • Assumes additional duties as needed


Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:  Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft software, including Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.                    

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to give presentations for large and small groups.            

Work Experience:  5+ years related experience preferred. Previous project management experience preferred.
