HR Coordinator-Recruiting

Do you enjoy working with highly motivated colleagues in a dynamic atmosphere?  Our newly opened Human Resources Coordinator position will serve as a key interface to potential future STIHL Inc. employee’s during the hiring process!  Reporting directly to the Supervisor, Talent Acquisition, the position will be responsible for:

Position Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Talent Acquisition team in the recruiting and hiring process.
  • Scheduling and coordinating candidate phone, video and in person interviews.  Scheduling and coordinating candidate travel.  Maintaining candidate files and tracking candidate progress through the interview/hiring process.
  • Processing internal job applications, routing eligible employee applications to hiring manager and assisting hiring managers, if needed, in scheduling interviews.
  • Coordinating and preparing materials for recruiting events such as interviews, job fairs, employer panels and community events.  Participating as an HR Representative at STIHL-sponsored events.
  • Administering Employee Referral Award Program including program advertisement, collection of resumes and distribution to recruiters, tracking of referrals and payment to employee of successful submittal.
  • Managing background investigations and drug screens.
  • Assisting recruiters in sourcing potential candidates through: direct contact, employee referrals and industry networking, and internet job boards.
  • Assisting recruiters in educating and informing customers about Staffing processes, procedures, and policies.
  • Performs other related duties or projects as required.
  • High school diploma, additional formal training a plus.
  • 1+ years of related experience or any equivalent combination of education and experience Proficient in MS Office, primarily MS Excel and MS Word.
  • Preferred: Bachelors degree 1+ years HR related experience.
