Digital Marketing Specialist

Purpose

Lead the strategy, development and implementation of digital marketing campaigns to various consumer audiences across multiple digital channels. These channels include web content, mobile, email, SEM, SEO, and display ads and coordinate with social team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute activities and reports for public facing websites such as, but not limited to: stihlusa.com, PowerChord sites and STIHL Express.  This includes dealer locator activities, ratings and reviews and accuracy of the product database. 
  • Be aware of emerging trends in websites recommending modifications when necessary to maintain the look and feel of a worldwide top brand. 
  • Ensure compliance with STIHL worldwide website design and functionality.
  • Plan and execute activities and reports for various digital marketing initiatives and campaigns such as, but not limited to: Search Engine Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, SMS marketing, QR tagging, Online display advertising, Brand & MAP Email and mobile marketing.
  • Manages day to day interaction with various Branch and Distributor emarketing initiatives such as but not limited to: Marketing Advantage Program coordination, email, experimental and social platform coordination.
  • Supports the Marketing Department with digital marketing expertise for various platforms such as events, email and in-store marketing, national sales meetings.
  • Identify trends and insights and make recommendations to marketing management.
  • Develop and coordinate reports and presentations of performance metrics such as, but not limited to: Marketing Quarterly Quantifiables and the Online Competitive review.
  • Complies with budgetary guidelines, processing documents and maintaining assigned budget categories.
  • Assumes additional duties as assigned.
     
Specifications
  • Project management skills to successfully manage multiple concurrent complex projects.
  • 4 year college degree in Marketing, Communications or related discipline.  
  • 5 years related business experience.
  • Proficient in digital marketing and report generation.
  • Ability to develop materials and present ideas & concepts clearly and accurately.
  • Overnight travel of about 30 nights per year.
  • In-depth computer skills including Microsoft office products, Google analytics.
  • Internet/website development understanding/proficiency.
  • Bi-lingual Spanish preferred, not required.
