Accounts Receivable Clerk

As a family-owned company, it’s the people who continue to make STIHL a successful, world-class brand. STIHL Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk to perform daily STIHL Inc. treasury operations, cash receipts and payments, credit and accounts receivable functions.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

Performs daily treasury operations, including ACH payments, wire transfers, foreign wires, borrowing and investment of excess cash and maintains supporting schedules.
Prints daily lockbox receipts and maintains spreadsheet for A/R receipts.
Posts cash receipts and incoming customer payments in SAP and Trend, including ACHs for domestic customers and distributers and researches any discrepancies.
Creates, posts and mails customer invoices daily and statements monthly.
Receives and analyzes credit applications, dealer financial statements, or other relevant data to calculate reasonable credit limits relative to risk.
Researches and procures additional data as required. Communicates these limits to the branches.
Maintains dealers’ files and files any necessary paperwork. Assists with UCC filings and related work for STIHL.
Prepares credit and accounts receivable analyses relating to Branch operations. Ensures the availability of this analysis for inclusion in the monthly financial package.
Assists A/R Lead with bill of ladings, including but not limited to maintaining spreadsheets, ensuring all bills of ladings are received, pricing issues and credit/debit memos.
Assists with customer, distributer and Branch A/R requests.
All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
Assumes additional related responsibilities as required.

Specifications

Associates degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
2-3 years of related experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
